Trailer Containing Art by Matisse, Chagall, and Keith Haring Stolen in L.A.

We’re only learning about it now, but on November 20, 2015 a trailer containing works by Henri Matisse, Marc Chagall, Keith Haring, and others was stolen from an industrial park in L.A.

The trailer containing the art and other valuables worth approximately $250,000 was apparently left out on the street because the owner had no storage space for it.

Dude, you can afford work by master artists but you can’t afford a better place to stash your stuff overnight?!

If you have any info about the theft and/or stolen items, you can get in touch with the LAPD’s Art Theft Detail at (213) 486-6940 or (877) 527-3247.
