Tourist Accidentally Destroys an 18th Century Statue While Taking a Picture

Oops! An 18th century statue of Saint Michael at the National Museum of Ancient Art in Lisbon was destroyed when a tourist accidentally knocked it over while trying to take a picture. While reports first claimed that the man was attempting to take a selfie, it now seems like he was trying to take a picture of something else when he backed into the statue and knocked it right off its base.

Though it will be a tough job, experts say that they hope to be able to successfully repair the piece.
