Toast Art from Alfonso Osoria (@osoriart)

Alfonso Osoria.
Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mx, Texas US
I am a Mexican-American , Wholly Self-Taught, Upcoming Artist with hopes of one day being lauded for my work in mixed-media art.
One of my biggest inspirations has come from the Book of John, Chapter 6, Verse 35, which states:
And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.”
-New King James Version
In the following images you will see the results of my exploration of this theme. In my opinion, it has spawned my most successful body of work to date. These works have been achieved with a combination of techniques, the majority of which were derived from the simplest technique of scraping away excess burn. Many of the techniques have been developed by me to help achieve a more realistic and life-like appearance. I’ve also developed techniques to permanently preserve these works.some of my works i now at the Museum of Ripley’s Believe it or Not ..!!
With the intention of been feature i present to you next some of most recent works and alson some of the past  ..ENJOY

((ALL WORK DONE ON TOASTED BRREAD NO PAINT ADDED AT NO POINT AT ALL ))
