Princess Leia’s Famous Star Wars Bikini is For Sale

If you’ve ever had fantasies about Princess Leia in her iconic gold bikini, you’re not alone. When the fierce Empire-fighting Princess was enslaved by the evil Jabba the Hutt in Return of the Jedi, fans everywhere crushed hard on the scantily-clad Leia.

And now, you can own that very same bikini. But it’ll cost ya!

The ostentatiously named Hollywood memorabilia auction house Profiles in History will offer the bikini and several other items used in the making of the original Star Wars trilogy, including less salacious outfits, helmets, miniatures, shooting scripts, and more. The auction begins on September 29th but only runs through October 1st; you can check out the full catalog of (verrrry expensive) goodies to be sold here. [io9]

So how much will you have to pay in order to own this teeny-tiny piece of Star Wars history?

Well, it’s expected to sell for $80,000 to $120,000. Worth it?
