Nancy Bennett is a Canadian impressionist landscape artist living and working in Toronto, Ontario.
Working in traditional oils using brushes, knives, rollers, spatulas and fingers, she paints large and small pieces in strong colour and with striking emotion.
Nancy’s most recent work has focused on the most Canadian of icons – the pine tree. The personality and gestures of these hearty souls in the Canadian landscape inspire and amuse her.
“Dark Pine, I dream for me you wait.” – Robert W. Service.
Nancy was honoured to be voted Runner Up Best Artist in NOW Magazine’s Best of Toronto 2014 and has been nominated in the same category for 2015.
