Licca Kirk is a Filipino American illustrator with a BFA in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art & Design. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia but frequents her home in northeast Georgia.
Her artwork takes on the tone of the intangible world of dreams while drawing inspiration from nature, forests, imperfection, and an appreciation for the aesthetic of wabi-sabi.
Her remote childhood home, nestled in the foothills and forests of northeast Georgia along with various trips to the Philippines have influenced her both artistically and as a person. She frequently takes the time to note simple occurrences such as moss growing on a hillside, disjointed brick sidewalks caused by tree roots, or the simple patterns of vines overtaking busy underpasses. This impermanence and co-existence with nature fuels her passion.
